Who is starring in ‘The Fortune’

A lot of known names from the industry are carrying the torch for ‘The Fortune’. This includes Eleanor Tomlinson, who is going to be playing the lead role of Amanda Blakefield. She is best known for ‘Poldark.’ Other than that, ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ star Matthew Lewis will be joining as Jimmy Brent. It will also be starring Danielle Walters as Sandy, Denis Lawson as Martin Worrall, Rebecca Front as Fiona Worrall, Callum Woodhouse as Anthony Worrall, and Stephen Tompkinson as Boots Maddison.

Plot of ‘The Fortune’

The official synopsis for the TV show reads, “Amanda's life is a happy one with her husband Jimmy and son Luke. But her world is shattered when she is left an enormous inheritance by a man she has never heard of before, and she becomes embroiled in the world of the Worrall family.”The premise of the show is based around Amanda Blakefield and her life, which gets upended after she is left behind an estate worth GBP 2 million.
What makes matters more mysterious is the fact that she has no idea who the person is who has left their estate and fortune to her.

When and where to watch ‘The Fortune’

‘The Fortune’ currently airs on Channel 5 in the UK. The show premiered on the TV channel on June 2, 2026. The show will have 4 parts in total, with the next 3 episodes airing on the respective dates: Episode 2 will air on Wednesday, June 3; Episode 3 will air on Tuesday, June 9; and lastly, Episode 4 will air on Wednesday, June 10. All of the episodes will be airing at 9 PM on the day. They will also be available for streaming on the My5 application.
