Actor Leah Remini will star in an untitled comedy pilot, it was announced.
The story revolves around a woman, her ex-husband and her new wife, who all work together to raise a family in Middle America.
Remini, 48, will play Jean, who considers herself a patriot that loves her country and firmly believes in everyone's right to be left alone. Jean in many ways fits the stereotype of a typical conservative.
McElhenney and Rosell will also executive produce the comedy alongside Nick Frenkel, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton.
The project will be in consideration for a potential mid-season launch.
