Kody Brown reflects on divorce after ‘awkward’ reunion with ex-wives at family wedding

Kody Brown continues to reflect on the aftermath of his three divorces from Janelle, Christine, and Meri Brown. In the Sept. 29 episode of Sister Wives, Kody and his last remaining wife, Robyn, attended a wedding where they crossed paths with his former wives.
Kody described the encounter as "awkward" and "weird," and the event prompted deep reflection for the 55-year-old. "Overall, the wedding was just sad for me," he shared, explaining how the family dynamic has drastically changed. "We used to go places together, and now those who were my partners feel like enemies."
Recalling his split from Christine, Kody admitted he hadn’t taken her seriously when she first moved his belongings out of her house. "Looking back, that was stupid of me," he confessed, regretting that their breakup wasn’t more amicable. He expressed that if they had parted on better terms, it might have prevented the polarization of the family. Kody also addressed his relationship with his first wife, Meri, confirming they had "officially broken up" as of January 2023.
