Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow in the hit series Game of Thrones, left everyone surprised at the 71st Primetime Emmy Award when he said he hasn't seen the final season of
Game of Thrones yet.
While taking questions from the reporters backstage about the backlash around Season 8, Kit revealed he had not seen the show, and so he didn't have to deal with the controversy.
The actor, however, mentioned the hard work they all put into making the season, and shared the love and effort that went into it.
He didn't hesitate to share that they knew what they were doing was right for the story and the characters.
For the uninitiated, Season 8 of GoT left fans infuriated with the ending.
The show's co-creator
David Benioff, talked about the show and how the GOT family has grown together over the past 10 years. Benioff was ecstatic they were together for now and shared it would be hard not working with the team again.
Game of Thrones first premiered in 2011, and ended after 8 seasons in May, 2019. It was nominated for 32 Emmys and won 12, breaking all records.
