The announcement was made on the official Twitter handle of Golden Globes.

"They may be in movies made for the small screen, but these leading ladies are big stars. Congratulations to Kate Winslet for your #GoldenGlobe for Best Actress -- Limited Series, Anthology Series or Television Motion Picture," the tweet read.

Winslet was up against Jessica Chastain (Scenes From a Marriage), Cynthia Erivo (Genius: Aretha), Elizabeth Olsen (WandaVision) and Margaret Qualley (Maid).

'Mare of Easttown' is an American crime drama limited series created by Brad Ingelsby.

The nominations for the 79th Golden Globes were announced on December 13, 2021. Various media organisations including US broadcaster, and streaming giants are boycotting the ceremony over the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's (HFPA) lack of action to increase the membership diversity of the organisation.

Kannada film actor Golden star Ganesh is all set to make his TV comeback after two years. The actor will be hosting a new game show 'Golden Gang', which is all about friendship and bonding between buddies who are celebs. Ganesh was last seen on Kannada TV with the reality show 'Super Minute', which went off-air in 2019.

Besides Vijay Raghavendra, dancer-choreographer, Mayuri Upadhya is also set to judge the new show Dancing champion. The reality show marks the TV comeback to the actress after nearly three years. Mayuri was last seen judging the reality show 'Master Dancer'.

The dimpled king of the Kannada entertainment industry Vijay Suriya is back in action. The actor is all set to make his small-screen comeback amidst his movie shoots. Vijay Suriya has bagged a new Tv project in his kitty. The actor will be seen playing the lead role in the upcoming show 'Doctor Karna'.

Actress Sirija, who once ruled the Kannada film industry, is all set to make her acting come back. The actress will be making her comeback nearly after a decade. Sirija will soon be featuring in an upcoming daily soap 'Ramachari'. She will be seen playing a prominent role in the soon-to-be-launched daily soap and has been shooting for the premiere episodes of Ramachari.

Although Niranjan made an occasional presence on Kannada TV in recent times, he is now set to host the second season of Gaana Bhajana. Tutha Mutha season 2 was the last stint of Niranjan as a full-fledged host. Niranjan has stepped into the shoes of actor Yogi, who had earlier hosted the premiere season of Gaana Bhajana.

After playing a cameo role in daily soap Kannadati, actress Bhavana Ramanna is all set to make her TV comeback with the new show 'Ramachari'. Bhavana will be seen playing a role of a powerful woman in the soon-to-be-launched daily soap.

Yet another actor, who is making his television acting come back with the new daily soap Ramachari, is Shankar Ashwath. This is Shankar's next outing after his stint in Bigg Boss Kannada season 8. The veteran actor has been roped in to play the role of a father to the male protagonist.

Having featured in shows like Putta Gowri Maduve and Kamali in recent years, Chandrakala Mohan has signed her 50th serial on Kannada small screen. The ace actress will be seen playing a prominent role in the upcoming daily soap Dasa Purandara which is all set to premiere soon. Chandrakala will be seen essaying the character 'Shantamma' in Dasa Purandara.
