Jonathan Jackson takes short hiatus from General Hospital, temporary replacement announced

Jonathan Jackson, who plays Lucky Spencer on General Hospital, is taking a brief break from the long-running soap opera. The actor will be absent from a few episodes starting February 18, though the reason for his temporary departure remains undisclosed.


Fans need not worry, as Jackson has already returned to filming in Port Charles and is expected to be back on screen later this month. In the meantime, actor Guy Wilson will step in to portray Lucky.


Wilson is best known for his role as Will Horton on Days of Our Lives from 2014 to 2015. However, this won’t be his first time on General Hospital—he previously appeared in a 2006 fantasy sequence as a young version of Lucky’s late father, Luke Spencer.


With Jackson’s return already confirmed, viewers can look forward to seeing Lucky Spencer back in action soon.
