John Stamos gets three years probation

John Stamos of 'Full House' fame, who was arrested in June for driving under the influence, was given three years probation, ordered to attend 52 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings next year besides taking a part in two hours of drugs and alcohol counseling.

The actor was taken into custody on June 12 after concerned citizens reported seeing a man behaving strangely and driving erratically.Weeks after his arrest, Stamos entered a substance abuse programme after GHB (also called the ‘date rape drug’), which he was using as a fitness supplement, was found in his blood stream. Stamos successfully completed his 30-day treatment.
