JJ Abrams Bad Robot has acquired the rights to late-night talk show host Tavis Smiley's book "Death of a King" for a TV adaptation.
JJ Abrams Bad Robot has acquired the rights to late-night talk show host Tavis Smiley's book "Death of a King" for a TV adaptation.
Bad Robot will produce the drama with Warner Bros Television, reported Entertainment Weekly.

The book follows the last year of King's life up until his assassination in 1968.
