Mark Salling has been indicted on two charges of receiving and possessing child pornography. In a statement, U.S. Attorney Eileen M. Decker said, those who download and possess child pornography create a market that causes more children to be harmed, E! Online reports.

Salling's indictment refers to two specific incidents, both in December 2015, during which he received and possessed a still image and videos depicting pornography.
Earlier, the Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit had served a search warrant at the 33-year-old actor's Sunland, California address and seized a personal computer,which, according to court documents, allegedly contained thousands of images and videos of child pornography.
