Lior Raz, an Israeli actor, volunteered to join the Brothers in Arms, a group fighting with Israel in the ongoing war against Hamas and even witnessed terrorist missile launches. Lior is best known for his work in the popular TV series Fauda, but he has previously worked with the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).

Lior posted a video on Instagram in which he can be seen accompanying Israel Democracy Institute President Yohanan Plesner and journalist Avi Yissascharov in the southern Israeli town of Sderot. They can be seen sheltering behind walls when a rocket attack occurs.

He wrote, "I, Johanan Plessner and Avi Ishkarof went down south and joined the Compassion of the Brothers for Cannon Arms. Hundreds of volunteers have been given different assignments to help the residents of the south. We were sent to rescue two families from the bombarded Boulevard. The main thing is not to be afraid at all!! Accompanied by Yohanan Plesner and Avi Yissascharov, I headed down south to join hundreds of brave “brothers in arms” volunteers who worked tirelessly to assist the population in the south of Israel. We were sent to the bombarded town of Sderot to extract two families. Don't be afraid!"

He also shared a video on X (Former Twitter) sharing how they went to extract the families and wrote, "Accompanied by Yohanan Plesner @yplesner and Avi @issacharoff, I headed down south to join hundreds of brave ‘brothers in arms’ volunteers who worked tirelessly to assist the population in the south of Israel. We were sent to the bombarded town of Sderot to extract two families."

Lior previously condemned the attacks in social media posts. He posted, "Our country was attacked by a cruel enemy who murdered children, women, and men in cold blood in their beds... This is not a victory. It is darkness fighting light." He also appealed to "remember this day even later in the war."

"When the war turns, and we promise you that we Israelis will turn it, and Gaza will absorb the losses, remember that we go into this war with a heavy heart, with no desire to kill innocents, and with no choice in the face of those who come against us," he further wrote in a post.
