Perhaps one of his most iconic roles of all time, ‘Blake 7’ was a very popular sci-fi series that aired from 1978 to 1981. Considered ahead of its time, the series ran for 4 seasons and had 52 episodes in total. Keating was specifically known for his role as Vila Restal, the cowardly yet talented thief, lock-picker, and conjurer. His character on the show was well-loved despite the negative aspects attached to the fictional role, and he was also one of the only cast members to appear in every single episode from start to finish.

This franchise has been going on for decades now, and to this date, is a popular binge-watch for many. Keating played the role of Goudry in 1977. He appeared specifically in the fourth episode of the 15th season, which was aired on TV in four parts. He co-starred with Tom Blake, who played the Fourth Doctor for the season. This serial was set on Pluto and followed the Doctor and his companions as they tried to start a revolution among the humans against an alien agency.

'Casualty'

While he only appeared in one episode of this TV series, it is still one of his notable roles over the years. He appeared in two roles in the show. In 1995, he took on the role of Graham Wingate, and in 2000, he appeared as Pat Sadler. The show is one of the most popular medical dramas in Britain and has been running since September 6, 1986. The story heavily centers around Holby City Hospital, its emergency ward, and how the doctors and nurses manage things in the high-stakes environment.
