Speaking to Entertainment Weekly about his involvement in the upcoming second season of Disney+ and Hulu's Goosebumps, the actor described a "genuinely frightening moment" while filming the renowned sitcom in front of a live studio audience in 1994.

"During the live taping of the show, [Matt LeBlanc] is supposed to do a kind of a pratfall, and he actually dislocated his shoulder," Schwimmer recalled.

"He became very white, stood up, and I noticed his shoulder was out. He looked like he was about to pass out."

The event occurred during the filming of the season 3 episode "The One with the Jam."

Schwimmer turned to the cameras with genuine worry, urging them to "cut."

Among other never-before-seen events, HBO Max's 2021 Friends reunion program featured film of LeBlanc's injury. The cast witnessed the scenario in which LeBlanc, playing Joey Tribbiani, hopped into an open seat and landed at a horrible angle, shoulder first.

The cast realised they had missed one of their pre-show traditions that day: the huddle. "After that, we asked, 'Do we need to do the huddle?'" "And [LeBlanc] would say, 'Yeah!'" they explained.

The event left LeBlanc in a sling, which was included in the following episode, the beloved "The One Where No One's Ready."
