Celebrity chef and popular TV personality
Anthony Bourdain, 61, was found dead in his hotel room on Friday (8th June 2018).
Bourdain died in Strasbourg, France, where he was working on an episode of his show, “Parts Unknown.”
The statement issued by

read as:
"It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain. His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller. His talents never ceased to amaze us and we will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time."
According to the network, the cause of death was suicide. The news broke out when his close friend Eric Ripert, the French chef, found Bourdain unresponsive in his hotel room on Friday morning.
Bourdain was also a best-selling food, fiction, and non fiction author.
