Bethenny Frankel and fiancé Paul Bernon part ways after 6 years of togetherness

Bethenny Frankel, the Skinnygirl mogul, has recently become single. The 53-year-old split from her fiancé Paul Bernon, 45, after being together for six years, as reported by an online portal. This breakup follows Frankel's announcement of her mother's passing, Bernadette Birk, who had been battling lung cancer.


The Real Housewives of New York City alum shared this news in an Instagram post. Frankel's representative did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on the breakup, which was first reported by Us Weekly. The couple first met on a dating app in 2018, with Frankel describing their first date as lucky and mentioning that Bernon exceeded her expectations.


They made their relationship public on Instagram in December 2018, and Frankel expressed how he had greatly enriched her life during his birthday celebrations in July 2019. Although they briefly separated in October 2020, Frankel shared on The Ellen Degeneres Show that she was content despite the split, emphasizing the positive aspects of their relationship.


After rekindling their romance in January 2021, they got engaged two months later in an intimate proposal on an island off Florida. Frankel described the proposal as simple and beautiful, highlighting Bernon's wonderful qualities.
