Actress-stand up comedian Amy Schumer sounded as if she has canceled her own show "Inside Amy Schumer," while addressing the controversy surrounding comments made by Kurt Metzger, one of the writers on her Comedy Central series.

After Metzger was called out for some hurtful comments he made about rape victims, Schumer tweeted, "Kurt does not work for me. He is not a writer on my show. Please stop asking me about it. His words are not mine." Few of her followers responded to the tweet asking if she has fired Metzger, and then Schumer, 35, seemingly announced that "Inside Amy Schumer" has been canceled by tweeting.

"I didn't fire Kurt. He isn't a writer for my show because we aren't making the show anymore. There are no writers for it," she wrote. She also retweeted a fan's response, saying "You're the best, and we'll miss your show." Comedy writer Metzger had penned a Facebook post regarding a sexual abuse scandal that caught fire in the comedy world, and Schumer, who calls Metzger her friend, had tweeted that she's "disappointed" in his comments.

"I am so saddened and disappointed in Kurt Metzger. He is my friend and a great writer and I couldn't be more against his recent actions.
