Amy Robach and T.J Holmes reveal 'marriage' is on table for the duo

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are reflecting on their relationship journey.

During the latest episode of their podcast, Amy and T.J. Podcast on iHeartRadio, the former GMA3: What You Need to Know co-anchors opened up about meeting and falling in love on the show.

During the summer of 2022, Holmes, 46, revealed on Tuesday's episode that "something else was evolving" between him and Robach, 50.

"We kind of skirted around it, and I didn't want to say anything." You didn't want to say anything, but as the summer progressed, things changed and we began talking," he explained.

Robach said they were "spending so much time together at work." She went on to say, "We didn't want it to end."

The actress also stated that she and Holmes would prefer to spend their working weeks together rather than their weekends apart.

"I recall both of us saying, 'Oh, Fridays are a bummer.'" People usually look forward to Fridays, right? "I didn't want it to be Friday, and I was looking forward to Monday [and going back to work]," she recalled.

Robach and ex-husband Tim McIntosh have two daughters, Ava and Annalise. Meanwhile, Holmes has a 10-year-old daughter Sabine with ex-wife Marilee Fiebig, as well as a daughter Brianna and a son Jaiden with his first wife Amy Ferson.



Holmes and Fiebig divorced in December 2022, shortly after his affair with Robach became public. In October, their divorce was finalized.

Robach had not yet confirmed her divorce from her second husband, Andrew Shue when news of Holmes and Robach's workplace romance broke. According to a source, they filed for divorce in August 2022.

On Tuesday's podcast episode, Holmes and Robach discussed whether they missed their news anchor jobs, which they lost two months after their romance was revealed.

"100%," Robach replied. "It took me nearly three decades to get there." I felt like I accomplished everything I set out to do. Yes. And I was looking forward to more. So I completely miss my job."

Holmes, on the other hand, is looking forward to the pair's new challenges. "There are plenty of opportunities that came our way in the past year," he said.

The couple also discussed their future together as they answered questions from listeners, including, “Are you guys going to tie the knot?”

“It’s under consideration,” said Robach, 50. “We did not enter this relationship for fun or for ‘Let's see what happens.’ We entered this relationship because we intended on spending our lives together. So whether or not we have some sort of legal, you know, I don't know, button on it.”

Robach went on to admit that the former GMA3: What You Need to Know co-anchors aren’t in a hurry to walk down the aisle, however.

“We both have two marriages under our belts and so it's not something we're racing to or rushing towards,” she explained. “But there is something, I get it, it's this thing that I can't even explain why there's this desire, but I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I can say that. It's on the table. It's on the table.”
The couple made their red carpet debut earlier this month at iHeartRadio's Jingle Ball in New York City, alongside Holmes' daughter Sabine.

Their appearance came just days after news broke that their ex-spouses, Fiebig and Shue, had found love after their divorces. Shue and Fiebig were also spotted together just hours before the New York City Jingle Ball.
