Alexis Bellino exits The Real Housewives of Orange County after season 19

Alexis Bellino departs The Real Housewives of Orange County after a tumultuous return in season 17. Her comeback was marked by a reignited feud with Shannon Storms Beador, fueled by past legal battles and a current engagement to Beador's ex-boyfriend. Failed reconciliation attempts and escalating tensions led to Bellino's exit from the show.
Alexis Bellino exits The Real Housewives of Orange County after season 19
Alexis Bellino’s journey on The Real Housewives of Orange County has come to an abrupt end. The reality star confirmed that she will not be returning for the show’s upcoming 19th season while guest-hosting the Going Rogue podcast. In an episode released on Friday, Dec. 20, Bellino candidly shared the news with guests Roxy Earle (The Real Housewives of Toronto) and Carlos King (Reality with the King).
“I was not asked back next season,” Bellino revealed.
Having first appeared on RHOC in season 4 and exiting after season 8, Bellino made her much-anticipated return in season 17 after a decade-long hiatus, this time in a “Friend-of” capacity. While her comeback was initially met with excitement from some, including executive producer Andy Cohen, it quickly became contentious as tensions flared between Bellino and longtime Housewife Shannon Storms Beador.
The animosity between the two had deep roots. In 2018, Bellino’s ex-husband, Jim Bellino, sued Storms Beador for defamation—a legal battle that Storms Beador ultimately won in 2020 but not without incurring significant financial losses. Adding fuel to the fire, Bellino is currently engaged to Storms Beador’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, a relationship that introduced even more drama to the show.
Attempts at reconciliation were futile, particularly as Bellino continued to defend Janssen amid his own legal disputes with Storms Beador. The tension reached its boiling point in a post-reunion scene filmed after season 17’s conclusion, when Heather Dubrow and Tamra Judge validated Storms Beador’s suspicions that Janssen had heard the crash that led to her September DUI and hit-and-run arrest but had not gone to check on her.
The fallout cemented the fractured relationship between Bellino and Storms Beador, making a peaceful resolution seemingly impossible.
Despite her exit, Bellino leaves behind a legacy of memorable moments and fiery confrontations that defined her time on the show. As RHOC heads into its 19th season, fans will undoubtedly feel the absence of one of the franchise’s most polarizing figures, while the drama among the remaining cast continues to unfold.
