Working on birthday is the best gift for an artist: Ridhish Chowdhury

It’s a busy schedule for birthday boy Ridhish Chowdhury. Early call time for dubbing, followed by rehearsal, has kept him busy on his special day. But the actor didn’t mind much; after all, acting is his passion. “I am having a very busy schedule today. I had to reach the dubbing studio on time. It’s for an upcoming web series. Now, I have rehearsal for a new project. Next morning, I have to leave early for recce. But you know, I don’t mind this, especially on my birthday. In fact, for an artist, it is the best gift I believe,” says Ridhish with a smile on his face.

Ridhish shared, how his mom woke up early and prepared all his favourite dishes early in the morning. “In the morning, I enjoyed mouth-watering dishes prepared by Maa. She woke up early in the morning and prepared luchi, torkari, panch rokomer bhaja, mishti. Before leaving, I touched feet of my parents and sought their blessings. And my special day is complete,” he adds.

The actor stepped into the showbiz after winning a reality show. Later, he played Bikram’s character in ‘Oloukik Na Loukik’, produced by Prosenjit Chatterjee’s production house. The limited-episode show managed to strike a chord with the audience for its engaging storytelling and a strong cast.

After ‘Oloukik Na Loukik’, Ridhish became busy with other projects and was featured in a number of music videos too.
