We are getting very good response for OH! MOTHER: Rajiv Mehra

Addatimes Media Private Limited has launched a web series OH! MOTHER (Season 1) on their website and app. Directed by Shaket Banerjee and script and dialogue by Sudeshna Roy, the cast includes with the star cast of the web series which includes Bidipta Chakraborty, Sourav Das, Bibriti Chatterjee, Ridhima Ghosh and others.
OH! MOTHER is the story of an insolent boy, Sourav, who is constantly oppressed by the women in his life — his girlfriend Diya and his mother Sipra.And in order to survive this stress, he turns to his best friend Pablo and their common live at home drug dealer EJ. With their help he tries to win over these exceptionally dominant women. Rajiv Mehra, managing director, Addatimes, said,"For the first time, we have included Hindi language as a part of our content and we have got very good response. The subscription rate of Addatimes has gone very high in the past few weeks. We plan to include more Hindi web series for our audience across the nation.

After getting a positive response for the (which started streaming from November 23) from across the world, we have started receiving request messages and calls from fans to make a season 2. What's more? People are sending their portfolios for auditions! We are indeed overwhelmed with these responses from the youth brigade. Currently all six episodes of season 1 is available in Bengali and Hindi and are streaming on the Addatimes app and website.

: Within three weeks of its release, OH! MOTHER has become a very successful web series. The series has been released in both Hindi and Bengali and I’m overwhelmed to know that the response is even more positive outside West Bengal.
I am extremely proud of the success. The web series is directed by my son. I have just supported him with dialogues, but it’s he who has done all the hard work and thus I am very happy with the good response.
I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of OH ! MOTHER. It's a very brave and innovative work from Shaket. My role in this web series is very different from the roles I have portrayed till date. Hope season 2 starts very soon!
Bibriti Chatterjee(plays the role of Diya): I play Diya, an irritating, dominating and emotionally-inclined girlfriend. It feels great that people enjoyed OH! MOTHER. The reach was even more due to strong content and bilingual release of the series.
