Actor Vikram Chatterjee is enjoying
Bhai Phonta with sister, Megha, at home today. The actor even took to
Instagram to share a picture with sister dearest"My younger sister and cousins have come over today. Post the customs, we all sat for a lavish lunch. A film in the evening won’t be a bad idea if all the siblings agree that is!" he added.
Diwali too was a fun affair for Vikram.
"I spent Diwali afternoon with mom, dad and my sister. There was a small puja at home followed by a family lunch. In the evening, I went over to Aneek's (Dhar) ancestral house in Shyamnagar. He had invited his friends over for
Kali Puja. It was a big puja and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was a calm and peaceful evening with a few friends and his family for company. The bhog er khichuri, luchi and shuji was mouth-watering!" he shared.
To support an eco-friendly Diwali, the actor didn't burst any cracker this year. "I don't enjoy crackers. For the sake of the environment and the animals, one should have a green Diwali every year. Imagine the plight of the animals when high decibel sounds hit their eardrums. Diwali is a festival of light and prosperity. One should keep it to that. I enjoyed a quiet Diwali," he said.
On the work front, Vikram is a part of the megaserial Phagun Bou that recently crossed 500 episodes. He plays Roddur, a doctor, in the serial.
