’, has passed away today (June 14) morning. The popular artist, who has also done television shows, was battling cancer. He was admitted to a private hospital for treatment.

The sudden demise of the senior artist, who was very popular among his industry peers, left the television and film fraternity deeply saddened. Shubhomoy, with his power-packed performance, left his presence felt in the multi-starrer movie which premiered in 2019. The senior artist was equally good in every medium, be it silver screen, television, or the stage. He played a negative role in the TV show 'Khona'.
