’, is quite emotional about this project. She said, “The show is very close to my heart. We all were like a family.”

Thanks to the hard hitting storyline, the show was creating a buzz among the audience just after its launch. Like the title suggests, the popular television serial revolves around the struggle of elderly people. The serial shows an old home ‘

Sesher Kobita

’, where the elderly persons start afresh.The idea was to ignite the thought that live does exist even after 60 years of age, informed the makers.

The veteran actress has decided to take a break from small screen and concentrate on films till she gets another meaty project. She said, “I will be very choosy about my small screen projects. I agreed to give a nod to Briddhashram due to its story. I don’t like saas-bahu dramas.”

Annwesha Hazra, who plays the character Roshni, in the serial, is quite upset as the serial is coming to an end.

She said, “We have finished the shooting yesterday. The last episode will be aired on 30th June. It is a memorable journey for me. It was privilege to share screen with a veteran actress like Didi (Lily Chakravarty). I will treasure the days with me.”

The entire team worked till late hours on the last day. The actress informed that on the last day, they both had outdoor and indoor shooting schedule.

“We all shared beautiful moments together. While returning from the outdoor location we shared our lunch. I will never forget a single moment spent during the project,” said the bubbly actress.
