One of the seniormost artists of Tollywood, Lily Chakraborty will be seen on Bengali small screen yet again. She was last seen in the second season of television show ‘Amar Thikana Tai Briddharshram’. The veteran actress, who has worked with stalwarts like Satyajit Ray, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Gulzar, will be seen on Bengali small screen soon. She will be a part of upcoming television serial ‘Nim Phuler Modhu’.
The veteran actress will play a very prominent role in the show which will feature Pallavi Sharma as the heroine while Rubel Das will play the male lead. The female-centric story will revolve around a newlywed girl who faces initial hiccups at her in-laws’ place. However, with her zeal and continuous effort, she finally wins the hearts of her in-laws. Actress Lily Chakraborty will be seen essaying the role of a loving grandmother who helps the newlywed girl to understand the dynamics of a household.
With ‘Nim Phuler Modhu’, the senior artist will be seen on Bengali small screen after quite some time. For the pandemic, she kept herself away from the shooting floor for quite sometime. She had tested positive for COVID too while shooting for the show ‘Amar Thikana Tai Briddhashram’, which had a successful season earlier. After recovery, she returned to the shooting floor but mostly movie commitments kept her busy.
‘Bhutu’, ‘Dwiragaman’, ‘Goyenda Ginni’ are some of the TV shows, where the actress was seen essaying meaty roles. She recently did an OTT project too.
