Usher in Poila Baishakh with the Star Jalsha families

Three families of the Jalsha family will be hosting Poila Baishakh this year like never before.
A two-hour long special program will capture the grandeur and sentiments of a Bengali new year — a time of family bonding and celebration through fun, frolic and food. The veterans and the youngsters of the families of Ishti kutum, Jolnupur and Chokher Tara Tuiwill ushers in the Naboborsho with dance, music, games and a lavish feast! The reunion of yesteryear stars — Sabitri Chatterjee and Madhabi Mukherjee will be nostalgic to say the least, while Soumitra Chatterjee's mesmerising recitation f Bengali poems will add that touch of familiarity to the occassion.So don't forget to tune into Star Jalsha, on April 12, 7pm onwards, to usher in the Bengali Naboborsho with your favourite on-screen characters.
