It’s wedding season in Tolly Para. After Sudipta Banerjee-Soumya Bakshi and Mishty Singh-Remo’s star-studded weddings, yet another celebrity couple is set to get hitched soon. Yes, we are talking about Uday Pratap Singh and Anamika Chakraborty, who are among the most popular jodis of T- town. The duo has been dating for quite some time. The lovey-dovey couple has decided to take the leap of faith.
Uday and Anamika’s family members are currently busy with the wedding preparations. Meanwhile, the couple is busy enjoying the last few days of their singlehood. Uday and Anamika recently enjoyed ‘Aaiburobhat’, (traditional wedding shower) hosted by their loved ones. The couple, took a break from calorie count and happily enjoyed a traditional meal, that included lip-smacking items. They looked radiant at the cosy event hosted by Uday’s relative.
Speaking about their careers, Uday is currently playing a meaty role in TV show ‘Neem Phuler Modhu’. His yet another project ‘Mithai’, that enjoyed a huge fandom, recently wrapped up. Uday was paired opposite actress Diya Mukherjee in the Adrit Roy-Soumitrisha Kundoo starrer. He has been a part of many popular shows like ‘Aloy Bhuban Bhora’, ‘Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay’ among others.
Anamika, on the other hand, is also a popular face on Bengali TV. The actress, who was a part of popular TV drama ‘Rajjotak’, is currently essaying a negative role in ‘Phaguner Mohona’. She became a household name with the success of Sean Banerjee starrer ‘Ekhane Akash Neel’. Her reel chemistry with Sean instantly worked in show’s favour making the duo among the most popular reel jodis on Bengali TV. Anamika also has movie and OTT projects to her credit.
