TV show ‘Jagaddhatri’, starring Soumyadeep Mukherjee and Ankita Mallik as the lead pair has recently been launched. Revolving around the life of special crime branch officer Jagaddhatri, the newly launched TV show has already managed to glue the audience to the TV screen; at least that’s what the latest TRP chart suggests.
Meanwhile, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to spice up the entertainment quotient further more by adding drama and introducing new characters to the story. Following this, actress Twarita Chatterjee has joined the TV show. She is playing male protagonist Swayambhu’s elder sister in the show. The character has interesting shades and Twarita is thoroughly enjoying the experience.
With the entry of a new character, audiences can expect some major drama in the upcoming episodes.
Prior to this, Twarita was seen essaying a meaty role in TV show ‘Kori Khela’. After the show, starring Ananda Ghosh and Sriparna Roy ended its journey on Bengali television, Twarita kept herself busy with her other projects. The actress has been busy with photo shoots and her business. The actress-turned-entrepreneur also did a movie recently. On the television front, the actress has played versatile roles in different shows including ‘Tumi Asbe Bole’, ‘Rani Rashmoni’, ‘Jorowar Jhumko’, ‘Bagh Bondikhela’ and others.
On the other hand, ‘Jagaddhatri’, the recently launched TV show, that bagged sixth spot on the TRP chart, has an ensemble cast. Besides Soumyadeep, Ankita and Twarita it features artists Soma Dey, Biplab Banerjee, Kanchana Moitra, Sanchari Das,
Rupsha Chakraborty, Moumita Gupta and many others.
