TV shows ‘Trinayani’ and ‘Rani Rashmoni’ top the TRP chart

’ which were giving each other tough competition in the last few weeks, have jointly bagged the numero uno position on the TRP charts. ‘

Sreemoyee

’ scored quite well and is in the second spot on the chart. ‘Krishnakoli’ is in the top three after quite sometime, while ‘Joy Baba

Loknath

’ has bagged the fourth spot. ‘Alo Chhaya’, has bagged the fifth spot. This is the first time the serial seen in the top 5 list.

The recent track of Nayan’s desperate attempt to save her father-in-law’s life and Dripta’s increasing affection towards her, seem to have worked in favour of ‘Trinayani’. The passionate love blossoming between Dripta and Nayan is certainly keeping the audience entertained.

Rani Rashmoni’s story is presently revolving around her zeal to a build a temple going against the then conservative society. The narration of different incidents in Ramakrishna Paramahansa’s life might also be a reason behind the shows increasing TRP.

The storyline of ‘Krishnakoli’ is revolving around the crisis of Shyama’s family. Basanta Chowdhury’s house and business have been taken over by his nephew Aditya. Shyama is forced to lend her voice for Radha and perform on behalf of her. The high voltage drama has helped the show score well on the charts this week.

The change in the lead cast of ‘Joy Baba Loknath’ hasn’t affected the popularity of the show. Bhaswar Chatterjee is equally convincing as Loknath. He recently replaced Souptic Chakraborty, who was playing the titular role.

‘Alo Chhaya’ is in the fifth spot. The show recently underwent a time leap following which little Chhaya and Alo grew up. Hiya Dey and Smriti Singh were seen playing the lead roles. Previous week they were seen in the show for the last time. Debadrita Basu is playing Alo while Oindrila Bose is essaying Chhaya’s role presently.
