TV show ‘Umar Sansar’ crosses 100 episodes

Television show ‘Umar Sansar’, which started its journey in March, has successfully completed 100 episodes. The entire cast and crew celebrated the occasion on the sets of the show. The team cherished the beautiful moments during the journey and had a blast while cutting a beautiful cake.
The show stars Kamalika Banerjee, Ashmita Mukherjee, Sabarni Saha, Abhijit Debroy, Sarbani, Mou Bhattacharya and Sumanta Mukherjee.
Kamalika, who is known for her acting chops, has stolen the viewers’ hearts as Uma, the titular character of the show. She has featured in many television shows like ‘Ekhane Akash Neel’, ‘Chokher Tara Tui’, ‘Checkmate’ and others. She has a few Bengali films to her credit too.
Anindo Sarkar is directing the show, while the story and screenplay are handled by Mon Chakraborty & dialogues are written by Upasana Chowdhury.
The journey of an ideal wife, who can go to any extent to save her family and how she becomes a rebellious lady, is beautifully portrayed in the show.
Uma is the eldest daughter-in-law of a joint family. Her sister-in-law Kankana loses her mental stability after going through a horrific incident. The story takes a new turn when Uma goes against her family and tries to find out the culprits who are responsible for Kanaka's situation.
