TV show ‘Shubho Drishti’ completes 1 year

The family drama ‘Shubho Drishti’ has completed its 1 year today (December 12). The show stars Aishwarya Sen and Gourab Roy Chowdhury in the lead loads. The show had a great launch as Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta introduced the characters.
The storyline revolves around Shubho (Gourab) and Drishti (Aishwarya). They get married following a twist. Shubho is an introvert businessman and Drishti is a responsible woman, who loves her family.Eventually, they fall for each other but can’t express their feelings.
Gourab and Aishwarya share a sizzling on-screen chemistry, which is loved by the audience. Both the actors are quite popular in Bengali television industry. Aishwarya has done a number of shows like ‘Ichche Nodee’ and ‘Potol Kumar Gaanwala’. Gourab, on the other hand, started his career with theatre and went on to feature in popular television serials like ‘Tomay Amaye Mile’, ‘Khushi’ and‘Bidhir Badhon’.
The show ‘Shubho Drishti’ also stars Bidipta Chakraborty, Oindrila Bose and others. Bidipta was seen essaying a negative role in this show for the first time.
