TV show ‘Khonar Bochon’ crosses a new milestone

The entire team of popular television serial ‘Khonar Bochon’ is in a celebrating mood as the show will air its 100th episode today (10 May). The entire team celebrated their success of reaching 100 episodes. From the actors to the crew members, everyone was seen in a joyous mood as they celebrated the milestone.
The show ‘Khonar Bochon’ features actress Oindrila Saha in the titular role.The actress, who is still in school, has been widely appreciated by the audience for playing the role with complete ease. She was previously seen in the period-drama ‘Rani Rashmoni’, playing Rashmoni’s daughter.
Actor Badshah Moitra, who is known for his acting chops, is seen playing a prominent role in this show.
The serial revolves around Khona, the poet and astrologer. Born to the royal family of Singhal, Khona was a near genius and an astute predictor from a very young age, with a keen interest in the study of cosmic astrology and horoscope. Her life took an unforeseen turn, when her predictions came in direct conflict with those of her father-in-law, who was also a very respectable astrologer.
Interestingly, another popular fantasy based show ‘Arabbya Rajani’, is all set to air its 100th episode tomorrow (May 11). The show which narrates popular folk tales from the collection, ‘One Thousand and One Nights’, stars actor Gourab Mondal and Jasmine Roy as Shahryār and his wife Scheherazade respectively.
