’ is in a celebratory mood. The show, starring

Mohana Maity
in the lead, has crossed 100 episodes. The cast and crew, who worked really hard to make the show a success, enjoyed a gala time on the shooting sets celebrating their first milestone.
Team 'Gouri Elo' squeezed out some time from their busy shoot schedule and had a cosy cake-cutting party on the sets. A special cake was brought just to make the occasion more special. Director Swornendu Samaddar, who has given several hit shows to the Bengali audience, enjoyed a whale of a time with his team.

Mohana, the participant of ’Dance Bangla Dance 11’, made her debut with the show and became a household name; thanks to Gouri Elo’s success. The TV show has an ensemble cast that includes popular artists of this industry like Sumanta Mukherjee, Mousumi Saha,

Launched in February, 2022, ‘Gouri Elo’, managed to strike a chord with the audience almost immediately and started scoring well in terms of TRP. Almost, every week, it fares well and can be spotted in the list of most-watched TV shows.
The daily soap made headlines for one of its scenes where protagonist Gouri, a village belle, was seen worshipping a replica of Mona Lisa’s painting as a goddess. The show was heavily trolled on social media and the scene inspired many enthusiasts to create memes and funny posts. However, it could not affect Gouri Elo’s performance on TRP charts and the show scored well keeping in sync with its track record.
