TV show ‘Anurager Chhowa’ to feature a time leap

Daily soap ‘Anurager Chhowa’, the remake of hit Malayalam TV show ‘Karuthamuthu’, is witnessing a successful stint so far on Bengali television. It features two young Bengali artists Dibyojyoti Dutta and Swastika Ghosh, playing the lead roles.
Since its launch, ‘Anurager Chhowa’, has kept the audience glued to the TV screen with its engaging drama, backed with some high-voltage twists in the story.Right from Mishika’s (played by Ahona Dutta) conspiracies to new mom Deepa facing a new crisis in life; the daily soap has been featuring back-to-back tweaks. Soon, ‘Anurager Chhowa’ is going to feature a time leap, following which Deepa and Surjyo’s twin daughters will grow up. The protagonists will part ways and daughters Sona and Rupa will separate too. One of the kids will be with dad Surjyo while the other girl will grow up with her mom. Soon, the show will introduce some new characters in the story too.
The current track is revolving around Deepa-Surjyo’s new born babies and the couple is facing marital issues, thanks to the constant conspiracy by the antagonists. Bahurani Deepa has been facing some serious crisis in her life which gradually increases as the time flies by. The latest track has worked in Anurager Chhowa’s favour, helping the show score well on TRP charts. Now the makers are ready to add some more spices in the family drama by featuring a time leap.
Interestingly, Karuthamuthu and its remakes including Telugu one (Karthika Deepam) featured similar track, which worked in its favour too. The show has been remade in other regional languages too including in Kannada (Muddulakshmi), Tamil (Bharathi Kannamma), Marathi (Rang Maza Vegla), Hindi (Kartik Purnima and Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar).
It will be interesting to see how the twist of time leap helps the Bengali show in terms of TRP.
