Team ‘Alta Phoring’ is enjoying a celebratory mood. The television serial, which consistently scores well in terms of TRP and can be spotted in the top 5 club, has crossed 200 episodes. It calls for a celebration and team ‘Alta Phoring’ didn’t miss the opportunity to celebrate the new milestone.
The cast and crew took some time off and enjoyed a cosy celebration at the shooting set despite having a hectic schedule. Actors Arnab Banerjee, Kheyali Mondal, Saoli Chattopadhyay, Sudip Sarkar along with the rest of their teammates had a gala time together celebrating the journey. A beautiful cake was brought to mark the occasion and the cast and crew enjoyed cosy cake-cutting party too.

Speaking about ‘Alta Phoring’, the show managed to strike a connection with Bengali audience with its simple yet interesting story that revolves around protagonist Phoring. She is a talented gymnast just like her mom and has to face a lot of struggle because of their financial issues. According to the story, Phoring’s mom left her profession after being deprived by her trainer. She single-handedly brought up her daughter and works as a daily wage earner. Due to a tragic incident, she gets separated from her mom. Abhra, a bank employee, rescues her. He helps Phoring find her mom and the duo later, gets married as well. A determined Phoring finds out her mom, fulfils her dream and wins championships as a gymnast as well. Interestingly, Kheyali, who plays the titular role, is a trained gymnast and left audiences in complete awe with her skills. Her reel chemistry with Arnab is yet another USP of the story besides a strong performance by the cast.
