takes ample measures to stay fit all-year round, on this day, he cuts himself some loose. The actor thinks this one day is such a happy occasion that it is unnecessary to worry about the intricacies of eating well. It's the taste of the

that he loves to rather concentrate on.
When we asked the actor about a fun memory from his first Jamai Shashthi, Om said that the occasion itself is a fun one for him. And that it is possible only because of the love and care his in-laws shower him with every time. "Jamai Shashthi is special for the authentic Bengali food that though stuffed onto me tastes heavenly. My mother-in-law loves to feed me like any other person does with their son-in-law. But I, too, look forward to being forced to eat all the ilish maachh, phoolkopir torkari, echor, muri ghonto and a plethora of sweets. The occasion itself is a joyous one and every moment spent in my in-law’s house become fun and full of laughter. I have had a great time last year, even amid the lockdown protocols outside. It was my first and they left no stone unturned to make it a special one," he said.
