Pratyusha Paul and Uday Pratap Singh, is going to off-air soon. The team had a wrap-up shoot yesterday (March 4). It was an emotional moment for the entire crew. Team ‘Guriya Jekhane Guddu Sekhane’ had a small cake cutting ceremony after the shoot. The actors and the crew members walked down memory lane and recalled old memories.
The Bengali daily soap was launched in January 2019. The show instantly caught the attention of the audience with two little kids Guddu and Guriya in the lead roles. Young actors
Abhirup Sen
and Pritha Ghosh became a household name with their innocence and crackling chemistry.
Later, the storyline underwent a time leap following which little Guriya and Guddu grew up. The makers roped in Pratyusha and
Arya Dasgupta for Guriya (aka Rikhia) and Guddu’s character. Later, the show featured a few more twists and Jeetu’s character was introduced to the story. He plays the character Sukumar, who is the father of little phuljhuri (played by
Krittika
). Jeetu and Pratyusha looked quite good as an on-screen pair. Their chemistry seems to have worked in favour of the show as the TRP went comparatively high with the new track.
