Team ‘Alo Chhaya’ wraps up shoot on an emotional note

Debadrita Basu, Arnab Banerjee starrer ‘Alo Chhaya’ is going to end its journey soon on television. The team had a wrap up shoot yesterday. It was an emotional moment for the entire crew as they shot for the remaining scenes of ‘Alo Chhaya’. Debadrita, Vivaan Ghosh, Alokananda Guha, Ipsita Mukherjee and others had a good time recalling the old memories associated with the show.They also enjoyed a quick photo shoot with the crew members, make-up artists and all others who tirelessly worked behind the camera to make the project a success.
The show was launched in 2019 with the story of two sisters who are poles apart. Chhaya is the daughter of a rich and influential person. Young Alo who ends up with her maternal aunt after her life takes a tragic end. While Alo is studious and obedient, Chhaya is happy go lucky. Chhaya’s dad forces Alo to change her identity and pursue education on behalf of her daughter. Alo agrees to do that. Things change, when they go to college. They meet Akash who starts liking Alo. Soon, Alo and Chhaya’s truth come into the light.
Initially, child artist Hiya Dey essayed Alo’s character while Smriti Singh played Chhaya’s character. After the show underwent a time leap, Debadrita and Oindrila were roped in. They played Alo and Chhaya’s character. Bidipta Chakraborty, Kushal Chakraborty, Sudeshna Roy, Anamika Saha played prominent roles in the show. After the leap, Vivaan, Ipsita, Dolon Roy, Elfina Mukherjee, Souvik Banerjee and other popular actors joined the project.
