Actress Tanusree Goswami, who plays a pivotal role in the newly launched serial Falna, is extremely happy to be a part of such a young unit. From makeup and creative to post-production and technical -- most of the teams working for the show are full of freshers or students, who are brimming with energy.“Working with these youngsters is a great experience since you get to learn a lot from them. They are so hard-working and energetic on the set that even the toughest days seem smooth. I am glad to be a part of this project and each day is a new learning experience for me,” said Tanusree.

The actress, who plays the role of Purabi in the daily soap, says that this is one of the most challenging roles she has ever done. “My character in the serial is that of a strong woman. She has a lot of layers to her personality and it’s a negative role. I love to play negative characters as there is a lot of scope in such roles. I had to do workshops and prepare myself well before starting this project. The only similarity that I find between myself and Purabi is that both of them are strong-willed women. It’s a very challenging role and I am grateful to the production house for choosing me to portray this character,” shared Tanusree.
When asked about her Holi plans, the actress replied, “A few of my close friends have planned a Holi party at a farmhouse in Sonarpur. Due to the spike in COVID cases, we will not be having a huge gathering. We will play with herbal gulal and indulge in long hours of adda, music and good food.”
