Popular actor Sujan Mukherjee will soon be seen in the upcoming television serial ‘Devi Choudhurani.’ The actor is on cloud nine as he has bagged the role of Prafulla’s father-in-law, Haraballav. The new Bengali television serial is based on Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay’s famous novel 'Devi Chaudhurani'.
Sona will be seen essaying the title role. Popular actor Rahul Majumdar will be seen essaying the character of Brajeswar.
Sujan is known for his acting skills.
The actor has already started shooting for the upcoming television serial 'Devi Choudhurani.'
In fact director, Dinen Gupta too made a film based on the novel starring none other than Suchitra Sen.
Presently, Bengali television industry is showing its interest towards period-drama and mythology based serials. Already the daily shows like ‘Rani Rashmoni’ and ‘Sanyasi Raja’ are entertaining the viewers. Audiences will have to wait and see what the makers have in store for them.
