Sourav Das to pair opposite Sweta Bhattacharya in an OTT project?

Actor Sourav Das, who is known for his natural acting skill and perfect comic timing, has a new project in kitty. Sourav already has a movie in his kitty starring Darshana Banik and Neel Bhattacharya among other projects. And now, he has landed an OTT project too. Industry sources suggest, Sourav is likely to play the male lead in the web series which will feature actress Sweta Bhattacharya, who which will narrate a love story involving three youngsters.While makers are keen on casting Sourav as the male lead and Sweta opposite her, the OTT project will also feature a popular artist who featured with him (Sourav) in two popular OTT projects 'Mon2 Pilot' and 'Breakup Story' (although they weren't paired opposite each other).
If everything works out, viewers will see Sourav playing a romantic hero. The actor has played versatile characters in his career, be it in ‘Mon2 Pilot’ series, ‘Rudrabinar Obhishaap’, ‘Pobitro Puppies’, ‘Rahasyaromancho Series’ or movies like ‘Sweater’, ‘Kolkatar Chalantika’ to name a few.
Sweta, on the other hand, is a very popular face on Bengali television. She has many hit soap operas to her credit, including ‘Bhalobasa.com’, ‘Jorowar Jhumko’, ‘Jamuna Dhaki’ and others. Sweta made a big plunge by bagging her first movie in a multi-starrer project that featured veteran artists Mithun Chakraborty and Mamata Shankar besides Tolly heart-throb Dev paired opposite her (Sweta). The actress also has a web series, which wrapped up its shooting recently.
