‘Shonar Pahar’ is ready for the World TV Premiere

The recently released film ‘Shonar Pahar’ is all set to premiere next Sunday. The film is directed by actor and director Prambrata Chatterjee.
The star cast includes veteran actor Tanuja (as Upama Mukherjee), Jisshu Sengupta (as Soumya), Prambrata Chatterjee (Rajdeep), Arunima Ghosh (Moumita) and child actor Srijato Bandopadhyay (Bitlu). Veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee had a guest appearance in this film.
With this film the veteran actress, Tanuja made her come back to Bengali film.
The movie beautifully portrays a relationship between 70-years-old Upama and a 7-year-old boy Bitlu.
According to the storyline, Upama stays alone and shares a strained relationship with son Soumya. She meets Bitlu though Soumya’s friend Rajdeep and her empty nest finds out liveliness in the kid.
Viewers could strike a chord with the loneliness of Upama. Srijato stole millions of hearts with his acting skills as he beautifully portrayed the emotional connection with Tanuja. The film received a lot of appreciation and worked well at the box office too.
