Sohini takes off to Benaras for outdoor shoot

Sohini Guha Roy, who plays Tisham in the serial Mayurponkhi, can relate to the character in many ways. “Tisham hails from a small town. I too hail from a small place from Cooch Bihar. I completed my schooling from there. Tisham is polite and responsible, but also rebellious at times. I am also like that in real life,” said the actress who started her career as Nandini in the serial Resham Jhapi.
Tomorrow, Sohini is heading to Benaras for an outdoor shoot.“On Sunday, the team of Mayurponkhi is heading to Benaras. The latest episode will see Tisham as a widow. The story will take a turn after she reaches Benaras,” said the actress, adding, “I love to eat, though I am on diet now. But in Benaras, which is famous for dairy products, I will surely eat to my heart's content and the diet will take a back seat for 10 days. I will sweat it out at the gym. And of course, I will buy saris which Beneras is famous for. Also, I am planning to be at the sandhya aarati on the ghats. The team of Mayurponkhi is extremely friendly, so this outdoor should be fun. Besides, I love the train journey.”
