​Singer Madhuraa Bhattacharya lends her voice for Sohag Jol’s title track

Playback singer Madhuraa Bhattacharya, who crooned a number of popular Bengali songs, needs no introduction. She hogged the limelight with her melodious performances in a reality show and went on to playback for a number of Bengali movies including ‘Bitnoon’, ‘Mallickbari’, ‘Sweetheart’, ‘Wanted’ and others. She did the playback for the title tracks of Bengali daily soap is too.Adding one more the list, Madhuraa has lent her voice for the title track of new TV show ‘Sohag Jol’.
The music is scored by Indraadip Das Gupta while lyrics are penned by writer Pralay. Madhuraa is earning quite some appreciation for her melodious rendition.
New television show ‘Sohag Jol’ features two very popular Bengali artists, Sweta Bhattacharya and Honey Bafna as the lead pair. This is the very first time the duo is sharing the screen as a reel jodi. Since the very first glimpse of ‘Sohag Jol’ was aired, as it managed to tickle the curiosity of the audience with its interesting storyline. Instead of a story where the protagonists fall in love and get married, ‘Sohag Jol’ has a different tale to tell. The story is about a couple who has many differences and is on the verge of getting separated. Whether or not they give their marital life another shot and resumes a happy journey, forms the major crux of the story. ‘Sohag Jol’ has an ensemble cast that includes artists Lopamudra Sinha, Pushpita Mukherjee, Animesh Bhaduri, Animesh Guha and others in prominent roles.
