Rapid rise of COVID-19 cases in the entertainment industry has become a serious reason to worry. Several artists have tested positive for COVID in the past few days. Now, singer
Iman Chakraborty, who was seen as a mentor of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s last season, has also tested positive. Iman's husband Nilanjan Ghosh has also tested positive for COVID. The couple is in home isolation and following measures suggested by a health professional.
Last week, Iman attended the shoot of ‘Super Singer Season 3’, hosted by Jisshu U Sengupta. She will appear on the upcoming season of the reality show as a guest judge. Iman attended the recent shoot with guest judges Anu Malik and Mahalaxshmi Iyer.
Meanwhile, Koushiki Chakraborty, yet another judge of Super Singer Season 3, couldn’t attend the shooting due to personal reasons. Industry sources suggest she decided not to shoot as a precautionary measure after someone in her family got down with fever. Sonu Nigam, who was in home isolation in Dubai, had also attended the shoot after his latest COVID report came negative.

A number of movie shootings have been postponed. In the small screen industry, the shooting of fiction and non-fiction shows is, however, still on. Tolly stakeholders have suggested all shooting units to follow all COVID protocols strictly.
