Shweta Mishra to make her debut with TV serial 'Jahaanara'
A new television show ‘Jahaanara’, which will deal with the issue of triple talaq, is all set to hit the small screen. Shweta Mishra will make her debut with the show as the lead actress
According to the story, Nizamuddin Sheikh’s elder daughter Rubina gets married to Ashraf (Ananda Ghosh), the son of Abdul Khan a rich and influential person. Abdul belongs to a conservative family while Rubina is an educated girl. Following the twist, the marriage is nothing but a trump card for Abdul as he wants to build a good image that could help him in his political career.
Ashraf develops feelings for Jahaanara but ultimately gives Talaq to Rubina. On the other hand, Jahaanara likes Kabir (Ashish Deb) who gets abducted by Ashraf on the day of their wedding. But Jahaanara decides to fight back.
