Shruti Das celebrates Jamai Sasthi with husband after their legal marriage last year

​Shruti Das is in a celebratory mood. The ‘Trinayani’ famed actress is celebrating Jamai Sasthi with her husband on June 12. Shruti, one of most popular faces of Bengali television, married television director and producer Swarnendu Samaddar last year. This is the first year the couple is celebrating Jamai Sasthi. Shruti took to social media to share a few snippets from the celebration.

​After dating for a couple of years, Shruti legally married Swarnendu in a legal ceremony. The couple registered their marriage on July 9 last year. Shruti and Swarnendu’s romance has often been criticized because of their age gap. However, the couple didn’t pay much attention to the trolling and haters.

​Shruti and Swarnendu recently went on a trip to Meghalaya. The ‘Ranga Bou’ actress shared glimpses of their trip on social media. Shruti even shared a video where she was seen singing her heart out while on a boat ride on the Dawki River.

​Jamai Sasthi is an occasion when the mother of the bride treats her son-in-law with sumptuous food and blesses him for his long and healthy life. Shruti is seen sitting with her husband Swarnendu as the actress’ mother gears up to treat them.
