Sharly Modak: My parents are extremely excited about ‘Bhagyalakshmi’

A brand new Bengali television show is set to launch today (August 31). It will star Rahul Mazumdar, Farhan Imroze, Sharly Modak and others. Entire team of ‘Bhagyalakshmi’ is on could nine as they are going to start a new journey.
While speaking with ETimes TV, the chirpy actress made an honest confession, “To be honest, I am excited at the same time nervous too. I am waiting for the feedback after first episode goes air.”
The actress, who is from Jalpaiguri, shared her parents are doubly excited for her show.“My parents are extremely excited about it. During the first show, my mom told all the neighbours about my debut and requested them to watch it. That time, there were a few hoardings too. But this time, the neighbours are coming to my mom and sharing how they saw me on television. Every time, dad is going out, someone or the other is talking to him about me. Well, they are enjoying all these tiny moments and narrating me over the phone,” Sharly giggled while sharing. Sharly, who is a college student, made her debut with ‘Chirodini Ami je Tomar’.
Speaking about the experience of working with Rahul and Farhan, the actress said, “I share a similar bond with Rahul just like it is shown on-screen. We chat and fight all the time. He never misses a chance to pull my leg. Farhan da, is also very supportive. Bhagyalakshmi’s entire team is full of energy which encourages us to work even harder.”
