Senior artist Anjana Basu, last seen in TV show ‘Pilu’, has a new project in her kitty. The actress, who was away from the small screen for a while, owing to her health issues, is set to return soon. She will be seen in an upcoming television show playing a meaty project. The look test of the unnamed project has also been done and the team will soon shoot for the promo.
Last seen in television serial ‘Pilu’, Anjana was unwell for quite some time. She had contracted COVID for the second time which reportedly caused some other complicated health issues. The actress also underwent a surgery to remove a tumour from her uterus. She was advised by the doctors to take rest and return to the shooting floor only after complete recovery.
The actress is doing fine health-wise and is ready to start shooting.
Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Megha Daw starrer ‘Pilu’ and ‘Mon Mane Na’, featuring late Pallavi Dey and Samm Bhttacharya were the last two shows where audiences saw Anjana. Both the shows had different flavours. While ‘Pilu’ was a musical love story, where Anjana played a character with grey shades, in ‘Mon Mane Na’, the actress played a corrupt political leader. She proved her acting mettle yet again with her performances in both the TV shows. The actress was also a part of the recently released movie, ‘Dilkhus’.
Anjana has been striking a fine balance between movies and TV commitments. ‘Gaaner Oparey’, ‘Bidhir Bidhan’, ‘Bijoyinia, ‘Bodhuboron’ are some of her popular shows. ‘Aparajito’, ‘Kishmish’ are some of her movies in the recent past.
