There are many reasons why Saurav and I have decided to part ways: Madhumita

Saurav Chakraborty and Madhumita Sarkar, the popular couple of Bengali television, are ending their marriage of four years. They have mutually decided to go for a divorce.

Saurav and Madhumita first met on the sets of popular Bengali serial Sabinoye Nibedan in 2011. Soon, their friendship graduated into relationship and after four years the love birds finally tied the

knot

.

Confirming the news, Madhumita told us that they haven’t moved the court yet. Despite being reluctant to delve into the matter, she said that when a person gets into a relationship, there are multiple reasons behind it. “So similarly, when they want to get separated, there’s more than one reason for that. There are many reasons why Saurav and I have decided to part ways,” she added.

Talking about their relationship, Madhumita said, “When a girl decides to marry someone, love is not the only thing on her mind. There’s much more to it. We had a thing for each other but somewhere down the line, we felt it wasn’t working out. It seems like we are not compatible anymore.” However, they will continue to remain well-wishers in future.

“The best thing we did was sat down, spoke like two grown-ups and took the decision together. If we are not

happy

together then it is best to move on and live peacefully,” she said, adding that she wishes the best for Saurav always.
