Thanks to a simple storyline synced with interesting narration, ‘Sanjher Baati’ became popular within a short period of time. Well, Rezwan and Debchandrima’s on-screen chemistry certainly is one of the key reasons behind the show’s success.
‘Sanjher Baati’ enjoys a good fan base and scores quite well on the TRP charts. It is one of the top 5 shows aired by the particular channel too.
In this serial, Rezwan is playing Aryaman aka Arya, who lost his eyesight following an accident. But it didn’t stop Arya from pursuing his passion for photography or other interests. Debchandrima, on the other hand, is playing 'Charu', a village belle. Charu and Arya fall in love with each other and get married. But their love story isn’t easy with Charu’s stepmom Jhumpa (played by
Kanchana Moitra) and step-sister Chumki (
Dipanwita Rakshit) in their lives. Actress
June Maliah
is playing Rezwan’s mom in this show while
Anuradha Roy is playing his grandma.
