“Sangeet Er Mahajuddho has exemplary talents,” says special guest Babul Supriyo

Singing reality show ‘Sangeet Er Mahajuddho’ is all set to welcome singer-turned-politician Babul Supriyo as a special guest this weekend. ​‘Exemplary talents on the set'

Babul enjoyed every bit of his shooting experience on the sets of ‘Sangeet Er Mahajuddho’. He says, “First of all, I want to say, there are exemplary talents on the sets. It was a great experience and these two days were really memorable.”

On the contestants

This week, the makers have a new theme- ‘Iconic Hero-Heroine’. The contestants will be seen performing some of the biggest Bollywood hits and some of those are originally sung by Babul. The contestants managed to impress the special guest. He says, “I was listening to the contestants and trying to assess them correctly and find out who would be the winner. I realized, the entire atmosphere was to groom the talents.”

The judges

“All the four judges, including Abhijeet, Lopa, Ustad Rashid Khan and Jeet Gannguly are great in their own ways. And shooting with them was a great experience,” says Babul.

​On host Mir Afsar Ali

“Mir is known for his sense of humour. He fits so well and makes the atmosphere positive. It also helps the contestants to have a hearty laugh before facing the actual challenge.”

Musical extravaganza

The stage witnessed some memorable melodious moments. Babul sang some of his biggest hit songs on the stage including ‘Kahona Pyar Hai’, ‘Chori Chori Chupke Chupke’ and ‘Chanda Chamke’. There is a special treat for the audience as Babul and Abhijeet will perform duet songs- ‘Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai’ and ‘Pyar Deewana Hota Hai’.
